Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season already and it has already seen a bunch of great games already and am hoping for more of it this coming week. Starting Thursday night the Eagles take on The Giants at MetLife. Giants coming off their first win of the year and looked better than they have it’ll be interesting if they can keep that momentum going against the 1-4-1 Eagles. Daniel Jones offensive line looked to protect him better than usual last week and looking at this week it should be the same way against a struggling Eagles team on both sides of the ball.
Then we go to Sunday for the first early game we have the Lions vs the Falcons. Matt Ryan is coming off a really good game in week 6 against the Vikings and seeing how the Falcons are struggling they are coming into the week playing a Lions team who also seems to be struggling. Thinking that the Falcons will come out with the win this week though. You have the Browns vs Bengals looking at the game last week the Bengals really should have come away with the win there but it looks like their team gave up altogether in the second half and Joe Burrow played fantastic that entire game. As for the Browns all the things that I have said about them and the praise I given towards them I really hope that it does not come to be untrue after all they just looked absolutely horrible against the now 5-0 Steelers they could just not get anything going on offense and no momentum on defense either. Really wanting to see the Bengals come away with the win in this one no matter what though the Bengals have found their franchise quarterback.
Packers vs Texans game should be an easy call I see the Packers coming out and taking the game early although I have to admit I have seen an improvement all over from the Texans but I do not think they have what it takes to beat the Packers or do I see Aaron Rodgers losing 2 weeks in a row after losing to the Bucs last week. Panthers vs Saints should be a decently good matchup for the week Panthers hung in there with the Bears and before that loss they won 3 in a row and it seems like the Saints have been having more of a tough time this year I saw them more as a Super Bowl favorite when this season started but now I am not so sure after see how they have played their first 5 games. As for the Panthers I see them possibly getting a wild card spot but that division is still going to be between the Bucs and the Saints.
Bills vs Jets should be an easy one to predict I don’t see the Jets winning a game at all this year they have looked pathetic so far in every game and getting shut out by the Dolphins just proves my point even more. I see the Bills coming out and putting up a huge amount of points against them as for the Jets its looking like a good opportunity to go out and draft Trevor Lawrence and improve that O-Line and Defense like they desperately need too. Washington is hungry for a win and they have proved off and on that they are capable of hanging in there with tougher teams so maybe this week is the week they finally get their second win against the Cowboys. The Cowboys have given up a lot of points in almost every game they have played this season also curious to see who Washington starts at QB hoping though that it is Alex Smith at the time I am typing this nothing has been announced yet so we will just have to see.
Cardinals vs Seahawks should be a very entertaining game to watch but I just don’t know if the Cardinals are ready for a team like Seattle even though the first game of the year they did beat the 49ers who I thought were going to be a way better team than they have been but at this point in the season it doesn’t really mean much. Seahawks will come out on top of this one but it will also be a high scoring game. Don’t want to write the Broncos off to early on this one even though I do not think they will beat the Chiefs I do think they will keep it close enough to have a chance to win after seeing the Raiders beat the Chiefs you never know there is also a saying “any given Sunday” so I guess we will just have to wait and see and the Broncos did come away with a win against the Patriots after all.
49ers vs Patriots should be a good game to watch its looking like the 49ers are back to the team they were last season after struggling without Jimmy for a couple weeks. Don’t think the Patriots will make it easy on them either though the offense has to show up and play the full game though if they want to have a chance to beat the 49ers should be one of the best games of the week though. Bucs and Raiders the game i have been looking forward to since the schedule was released back in April. The Raiders and Bucs both have a lot of momentum right now beginning with the Raiders who beat the Chiefs what a big win that was for them nobody expected this team and Derek Carr to be playing as well as he has and the Bucs are coming off a huge win as well after beating what is usually a very good Packers team I’m looking at this game to be the best game all over of the week.
Steelers vs Titans battle of the 2 5-0 teams this should be a good one after the Steelers embarrassed the Browns last week I don’t see them being able to do that to Derrick Henry and the Titans though i think that Henry is going to run all over them and have a repeat of last weeks game don’t know if 200 plus yards is possible but you never know with a running back like him. I don’t see the Steelers going away easily though either they had a good game running the ball last week as well and think it will be the same way this week. Should end up being a good game overall. Chargers after they have come close pretty much every week to winning I think this is the week Justin Herbert gets his first win he truly deserves it. Herbert has been playing like a veteran in just his first couple games in the NFL and i want to see this guy be in the league for a long time to come and it starts this week against the Jaguars who have been having a crappy season as well they perhaps have lost a few games they could and should have won nobody expected them to be good to begin win and this week will be the same way.
Our Monday night game Bears vs Rams I honestly think that the Bears can come away with a win in this one their defense seems to have stepped up tremendously and their offense is looking like it is getting a little better every week. As for the Rams that was a very sad performance on Sunday against the 49ers. Was not expecting the Rams to play that poorly nor did anyone else and I think they will struggle this week against the Bears as well.
The teams on bye this week are the Ravens who will get the Steelers next week, the Dolphins who will get the Rams, the Vikings who will get Green Bay and the Colts who will face the Lions. Week 7 is coming up and its looking to be a good one just like the rest of the weeks this year hopefully like everyone else I am truly looking forward to most of the game.
